Peter Bedford Housing Association (PBHA) have been inspiring brighter futures for socially excluded adults in North East London for over 40 years. PBHA is an Industrial and Provident Society with charitable status and are a pioneer of supported housing.

 

Their new centre is located on the ground floor of Islington and Shoreditch Housing Association’s Canal Walk Apartments. The project included training rooms, private spaces for participants to meet with support workers and a coffee shop. The centre is also home to the administrative and support teams of PBHA.

 

GPDE were the consultants for PBHA and wrote the employers requirements for the full mechanical, electrical and public health services. GPDE assisted from conception through to completion on this project, from sitting in on contractor interviews to witnessing the commissioning of the installation.
