Green Planet took the existing CAT A fit out of this prestigious building and designed a new CAT B fit out to suit MWE’s needs and to reflect their as installed systems on levels 8 & 9. Modifications were also required for their existing level 9 services to suit a restack. GDPE were able to fulfil their commitment and assist their client with any queries without delay.

 

McDermott Will & Emery were encountering problems with their Central Equipment Room at Heron Tower. There had been issues with cooling and overheating and concerns that equipment would suffer so they commissioned an independent report from Green Planet Design Engineers for the room.

 

GPDE issued a report highlighting their findings and offered solutions on how to better improve the cooling system.

Green Planet in conjunction with Comfort Commissioning attended site at the request of the client to perform hydraulic validation mass flow rate checks and pressure tests on the CER down flow cooling units. A schedule of equipment within the room was sourced from the IT team and an approximate load profile for the room calculated.
