Green Planet Design Engineers took to the task of completing the electrical, mechanical and public health designs for the 10,000sq ft indoor street market owned by London Union. The buildings exposed services help to create an industrial style theme.

 

The site, located on the upper level of Crossrail place comprises of 2 bars, 1 coffee pod and 4 trader stalls. Housing names such as Yum Bun, Bobs Lobster and Jose Pizarro.

 

With Crossrail set to open in late 2018 it was important that GPDE worked closely with London Union to create a space that would not only attract new passing commuters but would also suit the needs of Canary Wharf locals. The engineers at Green Planet attended regular site meetings, carried out surveys and completed inspections to ensure a high-quality standard was maintained throughout the design and fit out process.
